American singer Benson Boone will now play a single show in New Zealand at a larger venue in January 2025, instead of two smaller shows in September this year.
The venue for the concerts has been changed from the Powerstation Auckland to Spark Arena — meaning more tickets would be available for the previously sold-out shows.
Boone would now play at Spark Arena on Friday, January 24, 2025.
Boone was discovered by Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds, who signed him to his Night Street Records label. In 2021, he released the breakup ballad Ghost Town, drawing more than 530 million streams and became his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. That was followed by 2022 piano ballad Before You.
He made his first visit to Australia and New Zealand in October, 2022.
In a statement on the changes, Frontier Touring said: “Fans with tickets to the September dates will be automatically transferred to the new shows – ticket purchasers will be contacted directly with further details, including refund information if unable to attend the new dates.”
New tickets would be available for Frontier Members in a presale on Monday, August 19.
The general sale for non-members open on Thursday, August 22.
