BNZ’s mobile app and online banking service is down for hundreds of customers across the country this afternoon.
Around 5500 reports have been made on the website downdetector.com since 2pm on Saturday.
A BNZ spokesperson said the bank was currently experiencing an outage as a result of an issue experienced by a network provider.
“This outage is impacting customer service channels, online channels and some internal channels.
“ATMs, cards and payments are unaffected. Our teams are investigating this and working with the provider to have this resolved as quickly as possible.
“We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused.”
