A number of firefighters worked to extinguish a house fire on Auckland’s North Shore that broke out early this morning.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson told 1News fire crews responded to multiple calls about a house fire on Beach Rd in Castor Bay shortly before 2.30am.
They said seven trucks and 34 firefighters were working on extinguishing the blaze, which was contained to the one-storey property.
There were no people in the house at the time.
