The winner of last night’s Lotto Powerball jackpot is still yet to come forward and claim their life-changing $44.06 million prize.
Sold on MyLotto in Auckland, the total prize for the single winning ticket was $44,066,677, including Powerball and the one-fifteenth share of the Division One prize. It equalled the biggest single-winner in Lotto New Zealand history.
At 5pm on Sunday, a Lotto NZ spokesperson confirmed to 1News the winner had not yet claimed their prize.
“Hopefully in the next couple of days we will have more information”, they said.
The winning numbers on Saturday night were 24, 17, 25, 30, 6 and 3. The bonus ball was 36 and the Powerball was 1.
There were 14 other winning players who did not have the Powerball number and each collected $66,667.
Tickets were bought by these players at Relay Auckland Domestic Airport, Caltex Dinsdale in Hamilton, and on the MyLotto website in Northland, Auckland and Wellington.
Two tickets struck the $500,000 Strike Four prize, splitting it equally with $250,000 each.
These tickets were purchased on MyLotto by Auckland and Christchurch players.
In June, a record-breaking $50 million Powerball draw was split between seven winners. Each claimed $7.1 million.
