A man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting and holding another man “against his will” in West Auckland this afternoon.
Police said officers were called following a report a man was “being held against his will” at a house on Matipo Rd in Te Atatū Peninsula at around 2.34pm.
“Police arrested a man at the address without incident, and charges for him are being considered,” a police spokesperson told 1News.
“The victim had been assaulted but did not require medical attention.”
