US grunge band Pearl Jam has announced they will be coming to New Zealand as part of an upcoming tour to mark the release of their newest album.
The band, known for songs such as Even Flow, Alive and Black, will play a one-off show at Auckland’s Go Media Mt Smart Stadium on November 8 this year.
The tour is to mark the release of their latest album, Dark Matter, which is rumoured to go on sale in April.
For their Australia and New Zealand leg, the group will be supported by influential alt-rock band Pixies.
It’s the first time Pearl Jam has played in Aotearoa in 10 years – the last time being when they headlined Big Day Out in 2014.
Fans will be able to register for ticket sales until Sunday via Ticketmaster.
