A person has died following a single-vehicle crash near Oxford, Canterbury yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash on Depot Rd, View Hill in the Waimakariri District was reported to police at 8pm yesterday.
“The driver and sole occupant of the car died at the scene,” a police spokesperson said.
Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash were underway.
St John sent three rapid response vehicles and one operations manager to the scene and three fire trucks also attended.
