Police are investigating after an alleged aggravated burglary at a home in south Auckland last night.
Officers were alerted to the incident in Manurewa at about 11pm yesterday.
“Police responded to a report of a burglary on Maich Rd, where it is understood two people entered the address armed with weapons,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
“No one was injured, however a number of items were taken before they fled in a black vehicle prior to police arrival.
“An investigation is now underway to determine exactly what has occurred and who is involved.”
No arrests have been made yet, the spokesperson added.
“We are making follow up enquiries.”
