Police are making enquiries after a woman was found dead at an address in the northwest of Whangārei.
Emergency services were called to the Moody Ave address in Whau Valley shortly before 5pm yesterday after the woman was found unresponsive.
Police said in a statement: “The circumstances surrounding her death are currently unexplained, and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
A scene examination would be carried out at the property today.
Police said they would like to hear from anyone “who may have information about any incidents that might relate to this death, or those involved”.
Information could be passed on via the 105 service, quoting reference number 250118/3763.
