Two people have been injured, one seriously, after a house fire in Auckland’s Papakura this afternoon.
Fire and Emergency NZ received multiple calls about the blaze on Old Villa Way at around 1pm on Sunday.
Five fire trucks responded, including one ladder truck and one command unit.
“There were two attached units involved and the fire got to around 150 sq metres in size,” a FENZ spokesperson said.
The fire had been extinguished and a fire investigator was attending.
St John said it responded with two ambulances, one rapid response unit, and one manager.
“Our crews assessed and treated two patients, one in a serious condition, and one in a moderate condition, who were both transported to Middlemore hospital,” a spokesperson said.
