A man is being sought in relation to a fire at a church building in the Auckland suburb of Avondale.
Emergency services were called to the building at Saint Mary’s Catholic School on Great North Rd shortly before 4.30am on July 14.
At its peak, there were seven crews at the scene.
Police were now seeking the public’s help to identify the man pictured, who they believe “may be able to assist us with our inquiries”.

Information could also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
Auckland Catholic Diocese general manager James Van Schie told 1News the fire was “absolutely devastating” for the church and community.
“The extent of this fire is absolutely catastrophic. Nothing like this has ever happened before,” he said.
