Two people were injured after a bus rolled into a business in Auckland’s Silverdale yesterday evening.
Emergency services were called to Silverdale Street at around 8pm.
Police said the bus had “rolled” into the business address, which was closed at the time.
Footage from the scene showed the bus on the footpath, which was covered in debris from the damaged building.
St John said it took two people to North Shore Hospital, one in a serious condition and the other in a moderate condition.
Auckland Transport said it appeared the driver had fallen ill. Police said the other person injured was a passenger.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand said nobody was trapped during the crash.
The road was blocked overnight while the bus was recovered.
