A busy Auckland road is closed after a bus caught fire this evening.Fire and Emergency said it was called to the corner of The Drive and Empire Road at 6.10pm and found the bus ablaze.The fire has been extinguished, but crews are still monitoring the bus and have closed parts of the road.No injuries have been reported.A fire investigator is at the scene to try and determine what caused the fire.rnz.co.nz

Three boaties were safely rescued after their boat capsized near Raglan this morning, sparking a multi-agency response.The incident occurred near Spot X, a remote surf break off Whale Bay. The trio’s vessel was struck by a large set of waves, capsizing it and forcing them to cling to the upturned hull.
