An Auckland dessert shop has been left bemused after a late-night break-in where the offender took no cash and instead made off with five of its 12-inch cheesecakes.The store manager at The Cheesecake Shop NZ in Papatoetoe, who asked not to be named, told 1News their store alarm was triggered around 11.30pm on Tuesday. Three people, including two youths, have been arrested in Ōpōtiki amid “anti-social trail bike use”. The arrests follow a police search of four properties in the area this morning. During one search, a trailbike was found and impounded. Two young people were arrested at the scene. Another property of interest was searched under warrantless power. Officers found and seized cannabis, cash and a trailbike. A 25-year-old man was arrested over the items.
