A coroner has found a man who jumped from a crane on the Wellington waterfront died as a result of methamphetamine and cold water immersion.On January 26, 2024, Jarreth Colquhoun, 33, leapt from the crane of the SS Hikitia at the Taranaki St Wharf.The report said he reached the top — nearly 40m up — threw his cap down and waved to the public, before jumping into the water.He surfaced briefly, face-down, and then sunk.
