The Government has announced that it will invest more funding in natural pharmaceuticals and bio-based products, aiming to boost exports for what it describes as a “fast-growing” sector. A teenager has been arrested and charged with the murder of 67-year-old Donald Baikie, who was found dead by police on Tuesday. Police were called to a property on Chapel St in Greymouth at around 12.15pm on Tuesday, where they found Baikie dead on arrival. A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead at a Dunedin property yesterday afternoon. Police were called to Great King Street at about 2pm after reports of a “sudden death”.
