A pile of items potentially recovered from Tom Phillips’ remote campsites have been photographed from the sky as police continue their investigations. On Tuesday, police revealed an image of the campsite where two of the children were found on Monday, followed by images of the main campsite where Phillips had been operating from in recent months. Two puppies are safe but it’s feared their littermates have died after they were found by the water in Whangārei yesterday. Workers found the puppies near the Okara Marina construction site in Whangārei and brought them to Mogs and Dogs Desexing Clinic on Thursday morning.Other littermates were seen in the water and were believed to have died. It was feared they had been thrown off a nearby bridge. A tahina product sold in selected supermarkets in New Zealand is being recalled due to the possible presence of salmonella. Tahina – also commonly called tahini – is a ground sesame butter or paste traditionally used in Middle Eastern cuisine. The recall impacted 800g Durra brand tahina produced by Aldiery’s Mediterranean Market Ltd. Impacted products had a best-before date of 06/04/2027 and a batch marking of Lot No. 78. Two more teenagers have been charged with murder as police continue to investigate the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old Kaea Karauria in Napier earlier this year.
