A high-level meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Denmark and Greenland ended without resolution in Washington yesterday. Donald Trump is still insisting Greenland is crucial for national security. Meanwhile, several NATO allies have announced troop deployments to Greenland for surveillance and training.

For more on this, we cross over to the NATO headquarters outside Brussels to connect with our correspondent Shona Murray. We also cross the Atlantic ocean to connect with John Bolton, former US national security advisor, for his take on the Greenland issue.

Another topic NATO allies are monitoring closely is President Trump’s next moves in Iran. Yesterday, a US-led military strike was looking increasingly likely, with several European countries, from Poland to Italy, urging their citizens to leave immediately but now it seems Trump has dialed down the tone. Our EU editor Maria Tadeo joins us in the studio fills us in.

And as thousands of anti-government protesters are feared dead or imprisoned since the start of the brutal crackdown in Iranian streets, our reporter Jakub Janas look at the ‘killing machine’ behind the crackdown and explains what the EU is doing about it.

Lastly, we are joined for a live interview by David McAllister, a German veteran MEP and chair of the European Parliament foreign affairs committee. He’s a leading figure in foreign policy and will share his take on the latest developments regarding Greenland and Iran.
