Lytton High School, Riverdale Primary School and Campion College in Gisborne have been lifted out of lockdown.
The lockdowns were imposed earlier this afternoon after a threat was made to a school.
In a Facebook post, Lytton High School said the lockdown had been lifted but a police presence would remain.
“Students can leave as normal.
“If you are collecting them, please be careful as traffic will be heavy. Please do not linger.”
The school said buses would be collecting students as soon as possible and dropping them off as usual.
“We will send a more comprehensive update when possible.”
Similarly, Campion College and Riverdale Primary School also confirmed their lockdowns had been lifted.
Police previously told 1News they would be “visible in the area of Riverdale”, following a report of a threat to a nearby school.
