Police have arrested a third man — this time aged 19 — in relation to the death of Napier man Boy Taylor.
The latest to be arrested would be appearing in the Hastings District Court tomorrow, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
On December 18, police were called to Napier CBD near the intersection of Emerson and Hastings streets around 3.15am, following a report of a person lying on the street.
Boy Taylor, 58, had sustained injuries consistent with assault, Detective Inspector David de Lange said.
Two men, aged 21 and 33 — also charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm — were to due appear in Hastings District Court today.
The investigation was ongoing, police said, and further arrests and charges could not be ruled out.
