Police in Sweden have said that several people in the eastern city of Uppsala have been found with injuries that suggest gunshot wounds after loud bangs were heard in the city.
In a statement, police said they had received several calls from members of the public to report noises that sounded like gunfire.
“Several people have been found with injuries that indicate gunfire,” police said.
They said a large area of the city had been cordoned off and an investigation is under way.
