Two players from Pōkeno and Tauranga have each won $5.25 million in tonight’s Powerball draw.
The winning tickets were sold at Pōkeno Superette in Pōkeno and Park Mini Mart in Tauranga.
Their winnings include $5 million from Powerball First Division and $250,000 from Lotto First Division.
They are the eighteenth and nineteenth multi-million dollar winners of Powerball in 2024, coming just weeks after $30.2 million was won by an Auckland player.
Two other players have also won $250,000 from Lotto First Division. These tickets were sold to a player from Auckland at Shopping Fresh in Kaikohe and on MyLotto.
Two Strike players have also won $100,000 with Strike Four. These tickets were both sold to Auckland players on the MyLotto app.
“Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App.
“Players can phone Lotto NZ on 0800 695 6886 if they want to enquire about the best way to claim a prize.”
