Grammy-winning artist SZA told fans at her sold-out Auckland concert last night that she “loves New Zealand” and would love to move here.
The 34-year-old is in New Zealand for three stops of her SOS tour in support of her second studio album of the same name.
“Y’all are a f***ing vibe”, she said to a screaming crowd.
“I love New Zealand, I would move here, this is the most magical place on earth.”
The Kill Bill hitmaker has hiked around Piha, learned about Māori culture and even donned a pounamu on stage while she has been here.
She first performed in the country in 2018 at the Logan Campbell Centre.
“I wanted to come back to Auckland so badly, but we couldn’t sell out this venue, so we never got to come here. Six years later, we sold it out three times.”
The Logan Campbell Centre has a capacity of around 3000 people, while Spark Arena can hold over 12,000 attendees.
SZA has two more performances at Auckland’s Spark Arena as part of her ongoing SOS tour.
